See Class Times & Register →Your dancer’s tuition covers instruction for the season. A few things sit outside it on purpose: the $35 annual registration fee, a performance fee for our Holiday and Spring productions, and a costume fee. We list these up front so nothing surprises you mid-season.
Regular session classes (ballet, jazz, tap, acro, modern, musical theatre, and hip-hop) run on a season tuition model, one price for the full season, not a monthly plan. Class length follows your dancer’s age and the style they are taking. Find the length that matches your dancer’s class in the table below.
Families with more than one dancer, or one dancer in more than one class, save money. Multi-class discounts stack: 5% off your second class, 10% off your third, and 15% off your fourth. Sibling families get 5% off the first class for each additional family member.
Every dancer enrolled in a session class is invited to perform in the studio’s two annual shows, the Holiday production and the Spring production. This year’s Holiday show is Le Petite Nutcracker, a narrated, condensed, kid-friendly staging. Joining a production is always a choice, never required, and dancers hoping for a major character role should enroll in technique classes early in the season.
Performing incurs a separate rehearsal/production fee on top of tuition:
The fee is billed on auto-pay alongside costumes, in October for the Holiday production and February for the Spring production. Full details on fees and commitments for a given show go out to registered students each September.
Costumes are billed separately from tuition and the performance fee, on auto-pay in October for the Holiday production and February for the Spring production. Costume fees run $30 to $150 depending on the role. Dress-code shoes, tights, and attire for regular class are separate as well, and vary by style, that information goes out before your dancer’s first class.
Our competitive track for dancers ready to take their training further. Enrollment in at least one regular session class is required for eligibility, and placement is by audition. Emeralds runs as four groups:

The company fee covers competition registration and fees, community performances, and extra rehearsals. Costumes, warm-ups, travel, attire, and event fees are additional, and Emeralds fees do not stack with the sibling or multi-class discounts above. (Costs above are based on team participation and do not include solo, duet, or additional-routine fees.) Tuition assistance is available for Emeralds too, reach out if finances are a concern.
There are two ways to dance this summer, a six-week Summer Session of regular weekly classes, and themed, week-long Camps. Both fill fast.
Weekly classes for six weeks, July 7 through August 11, 2026 at the Lake City studio. $140 per class, paid in full at registration, plus a $25 registration fee. 45 minutes to an hour, all ages and levels welcome, a preview of fall programming, and priority registration for Parent’s Night Out and Camps.
Summer programs for dancers of all ages. No experience needed.
Payment is due in full at registration for each camp. None of this carries the $35 annual season registration fee described above. Summer Session has its own $25 registration fee (noted above), and week-long Camps charge only the price shown.
Looking for a lower-commitment way to try dance? Productions Dance faculty teach through Seattle Parks & Rec at Meadowbrook Community Center. Six weeks, one flat price, no experience needed, led by the same certified instructors, and wraps up with a showcase performance.
Registration runs through Seattle Parks & Rec directly, not through the studio, and the $35 studio season registration fee does not apply here.
Bringing dance to your preschool, school, or co-op, or booking a home pod or private lesson, is priced around your group’s size and schedule. There is no published rate for this program because every setup is different. Contact us and we will put together a quote.
Cost should never be the reason a dancer sits out. Financial assistance and scholarships are available thanks to donors and sponsors to the Charlotte Ewing Dance For All Fund, so every young person has the chance to discover their passion regardless of financial situation.

To apply, tell us about your dancer (age and interests), your address, and how much assistance you are seeking, what you are able to contribute toward tuition. Assistance covers full or partial class scholarships, summer camp scholarships, and other needs like Emeralds or registration fees.
Season tuition can be paid in full or split into four installments, due September 1, November 1, January 15, and March 15, at no added cost either way. We accept credit and debit cards, and Klarna for flexible installment payments on tuition and camp registrations. Need help setting up Klarna? Email billing@productionsdance.com. Emeralds fees follow the same four-installment schedule as season tuition.
How much does a dance class cost?
Season tuition runs from $600 a year for a 45 to 60 minute class up to $1,700 for a class that meets twice a week at 90 minutes. See the full breakdown above.
What’s included in tuition, and what isn’t?
Tuition covers instruction for the full season. Registration ($35/student), performance fees, and costumes are separate, so you can see each cost on its own instead of buried in one number.
Do you offer discounts for siblings or multiple classes?
Yes. Multi-class discounts stack at 5% / 10% / 15% off your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th class, and sibling families get 5% off the first class for each additional family member. See the Discounts section above.
What if we join partway through the season?
Tuition is pro-rated by the week you join, so you only pay for the weeks remaining.
What is the $35 registration fee for?
It is an annual, per-student fee, charged once a season no matter how many classes your dancer takes.
Do we have to pay extra to perform in the shows?
Yes, a performance fee ($225 per class, $125 for Preschool Combo) covers rehearsal time and production costs for the Holiday and Spring shows, in addition to tuition, billed alongside costumes each October and February.
What about costumes?
Costumes are billed separately from tuition and the performance fee, $30 to $150 depending on the role, on auto-pay each October and February.
Am I committed to the full season?
Yes, our main season programs are progressive, full-season commitments, since dancers build technique and choreography over time. Life happens though, if you need to unenroll, you can withdraw at any time with 30 days’ written notice. See the studio’s terms and conditions for full withdrawal and billing details.
Can we pay in installments?

Is financial aid available?
Yes. Productions Dance offers tuition assistance so cost is not a barrier. Reach out and we will talk through your options.

$110 for a six-week session at Meadowbrook Community Center, registered directly through Seattle Parks.
Can we try a class before committing to a season?
Yes, drop-in classes are available with no season commitment, and punch cards are available at a discount.
