Summer Camp FAQ

What should we wear to camp?

Your dancer should come in athletic clothing that allows free movement. Layering is advised so they can adjust throughout the day to stay comfortable. If your dancer has ballet or jazz shoes please bring them, but at minimum please send them with athletic non-marking shoes.

What else should we bring?

Dancers will need to bring at minimum a snack and water bottle. For full day camps dancers will also need to bring a lunch. Please let us know if there are any dietary restrictions we should be aware of. Please label water bottles and lunch boxes with dancer's name.

Where are you located?

Productions Dance is located at 12716 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA 98125. The entrance is in the opening to the Solara complex. Parking is typically available heading northbound along Lake City Way in front of the studio. You can also park along Lake City Way heading southbound (in front of Chipotle) and walk down to the crosswalk on 127th.

What time should we drop-off and pickup?

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to class start time to ensure we can start on time each day. Pickup will be at time listed on camp schedule.

What is your cancellation policy?

At Katlin Zimmer Dance Camps, we hope you will not have to cancel your enrollment in camp. If you do though, there are options. For details on our Cancellation Policy, including cancellations of camp by Katlin Zimmer Dance Camps, please visit: katlinzimmer.com/peace-of-mind-policy

"They loved every minute of camp - by far the highlight of summer for our dancer!"

Let's Dance!

As a dance instructor and choreographer Katlin has always had an admiration towards the production side of dance. How can the pieces in a recital tell a story? How can each dancer uniquely contribute to the story? How do those stories provoke an emotion?

Katlin has been teaching and running dance camps for 16 years and is certified to teach in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern by Dance Masters of America. Katlin has danced and choreographed professionally for the NBA, as well as trained and choreographed award winning pieces at the highest national level.
